Jeff Widas
Jeff is the head Boxing coach at Next Generation Canada. He is provincially certified as a Boxing instructor. Jeff has over 20 years of Martial Arts and Boxing experience. He has trained and competed in Kyokushin Karate, Boxing, Judo, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Over the years, Jeff has trained many amateur Boxing champions as well as professional Boxing and MMA champions. |

Yosh Otaki
Yosh has over 15 years of experience in multiple disciplines which include: Hapkido, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling. He has also trained under professional mixed martial arts fighters and holds a blue belt under Royce Gracie. Yosh has competed in various judo, grappling and pankration tournaments. Combined with his experiences in real life situations, Yosh has developed an effective grappling program that utilizes practical and proven techniques. Yosh is patient and willing to teach those who have the desire to learn.

Cliff Kusch
Cliff is currently a police officer in British Columbia. He is a police Use of Force Instructor and a provincially certified Advanced Security Training Instructor at the Justice Institute of BC. Cliff specializes in defense and control tactics. He has been involved in martial arts for over 15 years, training in Karate, Kickboxing, Pankration, and submission wrestling/grappling. His wide-ranging athletic experience also includes professional motorcycle racing and competing at high levels as a soccer player. He has owned and operated his own businesses over the years and also boasts an extensive coaching background, thus bringing business acumen as well as strong leadership and motivational qualities to the team.

Julian Knight
Julian has been a police officer in British Columbia for the past 19 years. He is currently assigned to the K9 Section. He has been a police Use of Force Instructor for 15 years and was an ERT member for 8 years. From 1997-2000 Julian was the full time Use of Force Instructor for recruit training at the B.C. Police Academy. Julian has an extensive background in Wrestling, Judo, Jeet Kune Do and Hapkido. Julian's athletic background also includes competing in numerous ultra marathons and multi day endurance events. He is a certified instructor/trainer for the Armoured Car Guard program and a provincially certified instructor for the Advanced Security Training course. Julian developed the Use of force training for the Gaming Security Officer course that has run for the past six years at the Justice Institute.
